Men's Adventure Paperbacks

Men's Adventure Paperbacks:
From predecessors like Ian Fleming and Mickey Spillane, largely copying the success of Don Pendelton's Executioner series, the books listed below are for series characters in the varying genres of Men's Adventure, excluding Westerns.  This list is intended to be roughly comprehensive, though there are borderline cases (especially with spy and detective series) that could go either way.  Starting in the early 90s the field evolved into doorstop technothrillers by the likes of Tom Clancy, with only a handful of series surviving the decade.

  3. How did you forget the great criminal series in history, Parker, by Richard Stark (aka Donald Westlake)?

  4. Adventure books are a thrilling genre of literature that take readers on exciting journeys to far-off places and exotic lands. These books often feature courageous heroes and heroines who must overcome incredible odds and face dangerous challenges to achieve their goals.

I have the utmost respect for an author like you. This narrative delivers me to get this book. It sounds so exhilarating. I already bookmarked the other one from Alma Lightbody; I felt adventurous already; thanks for this.

  5. I would think Logan's World would fit in this genre as well. The first book, Logan's Run, was straight up speculative fiction. Logan's World, while technically well-written, featured lots of sex, apparently just to have gratuitous sex scenes.
