Gunther "Gun" Battle's wife is killed, sending him on the titular revenge ride, mostly banging women. Sleazier update to classic Adult Westerns with a dash of Piccadilly Cowboy, down to the bad puns and other author names as characters.

Lassiter comes in to a town to find his bounty already dead and the saloon full of hired guns. Two factions are in war over the town and Lassiter is recruited as Sheriff by one side. Lassiter sets up a meeting with the other side to get a Yojimbo thing going, but the book isn't long enough to support that so it gets cut short by all out war so Lassiter sneaks back into town to steal some money.
Slocum is forced into jury duty for a trial of a notorious criminal gang. There's a subplot or maybe a flashback of Slocum being captured and turned in by a crooked bounty hunter. None of these really go anywhere, and the plot is confusing despite not much going on.
Slocum himself is hard on his luck schlub, which would have worked better with a less grim tone. I don't think there were any on-screen sex scenes, and there was little action. By the end it was just rambling.
Some literary flourishes in parts, but they just seemed to underline that the author would rather be writing a different book.
A.M. Van Dorn is one of a few contemporary authors marketing their work as Adult Westerns. These are typically action based westerns with at least three graphic sex scenes shoehorned in, distinct from western romances.
Kit Blaze and his sidekick help a ranch widow before getting involved with Mexican revolutionaries.
The sex is flat and juvenile. What little action we get is rushed through. Some research was put into the history and the plot may have been fine, but I could not get through the prose. It wasn't bad grammar so much as the words were strung together so awkwardly for me that it was a chore to get through.

Captain Gringo and Gaston recruit mercenaries to hunt for a German submarine base in Costa Rica on behalf of British intelligence. A little low on the action, though it ends with a fun bit involving shooting a machine gun from a hot air balloon. The creepiest entry so far, opening with a rape played for laughs and a sex scene between Gringo and a thirteen-year-old.
Richard Walker and Gaston take the boat of arms they absconded with in the last installment to Nicaragua where they plan to sell them to Conservative rebels. Walker ends up commanding a troop of green revolutionaries, flushes out a traitor in their camp, flees for the coast, and frees a village from a bandit overlord. And still finds time to make time with five different ladies. We get a psychedelic sex scene, a nude shootout, a psychotic hermit, and a mission siege.
The plotting style of this series takes some getting used to. We don't have a three act structure of introducing and overcoming obstacles, more of running from one obstacle to another. It fits in with Walker's vagabond life, but the installments feel like parts of stories sewn together. Mainly I would have liked to see the siege of the bandit king sequence take up a whole book instead of an epilogue rushed out at the end and barely connected to the main story.

Spur McCoy goes to a mining town to uncover a plot to steal $30 million in ore, but mainly sleeps with sex workers and a rich cougar. Light on action and heavy on depravity - half the sex workers are underage, some as young as 10, incest, rape murders, the works. There's at least some sense that these are things the bad guys do, but it's particularly insidious in the context of a sex novel, especially when there are ostensibly normal sex scenes that go south when someone asks "How old are you again?"
Captain Gringo, Richard Walker, wakes up in a Panamanian jail after recovering from a jungle fever. After escaping, he considers his options in the country, the subject of upheaval from the foreign interest in digging the canal. He's groomed by a mysterious arms dealer, contacted by British intelligence, and meets with his old comrade in arms Gaston.
Slow going at first, until Walker is forced to flee into the jungle where he faces federal troops, gun runners, natives, and the cruel forces of nature itself, including soldier ants and piranhas. Excellent adventure, with Walker using strategy and tactics to overcome overwhelming odds.
The sex seemed more farcical in this installment, like something out of madcap 70s comedy.
Jessie Starbuck is the heir of the Starbuck fortune seeking revenge against the Prussian cartel who killed her family. Ki is a half Japanese samurai who pals around with her. Their connection isn't clear in the second volume, not sure if their partners, he's her employee, there's some honor blood debt thing, or what. They've got a Moonlighting will they / won't they sexual tension thing going on, but it doesn't stop them from performing in the three sex scenes contractually obligated in adult westerns (two for Ki and one for Jessie).
Jessie checks in on her corporate interests in San Francisco, discovering that the Prussian cartel is working with the Tongs and corrupt city officials. Jessie goes undercover in a brothel while Ki frees slaves from the Tong. Ki falls in love with a local Chinese girl which definitely doesn't get her raped and killed.
Like the best of adult westerns, this would have been so much better without the sex, which was shoehorned in at awkward intervals. The plotting was good, and did a pretty good job of establishing this as an episode of a longer series. The story is standalone, but you got a sense of progress towards Jessie's overall long term goal.
Spur McCoy is a Secret Service agent assigned to find a gang who hijack cattle trains on their final days, killing the cowboys and selling the herd. He uncovers a real estate plot by prominent citizens, but mostly he has sex a lot.
The sex isn't good - one woman exclaims banalities like "marvelous" and "wonderful" which would kill any mood. Plenty of sleazy aspects, such as the sex trafficked 13 year old, and even Spur himself gets sexually assaulted by a gross old bandit while her teen foster son faps off.
Nothing special, but Chet Cunningham keeps things moving professionally enough.
The action is more tactical than blow-by-blow, though there's a decent amount of gunplay, including some machine-gun action. Mostly, he uses his tactical knowledge to outwit and out maneuver the enemy. Gringo is an expert on just about everything, and he threatens to become the Cliff Clavin of the Old West if his knowledge wasn't put to use so often. Walker's got some ideas on taxes and race relations.
It doesn't help that the whole "brilliant and reasonable character surrounded by idiots" theme directly translates to "white guy in charge because everyone else isn't white", but if you don't like that, you'll love him banging a teenage rape victim before abandoning her to her death.
He's not so much a sociopath as practical, with a sense of responsibility to care for his men, which sometimes involves robbing banks and letting innocent people die. Well, maybe he is a sociopath, but what good western hero isn't.
And the sex - this is an Adult Western, after all, so there's plenty of women lining up to get acrobatic with Gringo on his way.
